The Autumn Of Sentience
Collapse. Crumble. Welcome your unmaking.
This is not the first time you experienced this.
Even if it is, know that this will not be the last.
To be unmade, unfettered and disintegrated is a milestone that should not leave you aghast;
Be undone.
Embrace defeat and give in to the destruction,
Destruction of all that you were, of all that you thought, that could be;
Rile up your senses to feel every iota of the loss,
Affirm the hurt to remember the pain.
This is how it feels to drown in a river you were trying to get across;
Do not wait for it to rain, for it might never come to soothe you and your patience shall be in vain,
Witness your own psychological bludgeoning.
Experience the torment,
This is your call to arms: A summoning!
A rallying not for war, but for reckoning.
For this is what it is, your reckoning: A time for evaluation.
Do you not see? An alternate timeline is born, do you not detect, a new future beckoning?
Melt! Freeze! Break! Burn! Die?
Oh no, not die. This is not your death.
This was never supposed to be your end,
Take a moment, take a breath,
You do not believe you can ever mend?
Your soul Charred by life's fiery pit, your heart frozen in an icy tomb?
I understand if you do not wish to continue: To endure.
But do you not understand, You are your own womb.
This was never your annihilation,
What you are experiencing is not the death of a star.
Why, then do you ask, that should you subject yourself to such ablation?
The answer is incomplex, if this is not you hurtling towards death yet it hurts so much,
What might it be?
What is similar to death yet vastly different, an antonym.
A birth. In your case, a re-birth.
This life is too long for one birth. There is too much to imbibe;
So how do we inculcate all that we are exposed to?
We resurrect.
I reiterate. This is not your death, this is your resurrection!
Welcome the Autumn into your life, Let go of the old to revitalize,
This is your Autumn, this is your rebirth.
Imbibe the old and embrace the present, for only then can you face the future: Be wise.
So go on, live your Autumn:
Collapse. Crumble. Welcome your unmaking...
