I Remember...

I Remember everyone who leaves,

I do not forget! Even if it aggrieves;

They come & they go, do they ever know?

How much their departure, fills me with woe!

The world would be in crimson cinders,

No force of will or might, shall obstruct or hinder;

Such is the supernova heat of my emotion!

Do you now understand, the depth of my devotion?

It is but a matter of time,

That we end as well, not unlike this rhyme;

Is it a blessing or a curse? This ability to recall;

I wish to master it, lest it leads to my fall;

I remember everyone who leaves,

I do not forget, forever it grieves...
