I Am Verity

I am knowledge,

 I am power,

I am a torrential barrage,

I change minds, make them cower;

I am the written word,

I am the spoken nuke,

I am thoughts and dreams: Heard & unheard,

Fear me! Never invoke me in fluke;

I am the harbinger of thought,

I unravel the illusions,

By my virtue, wars have been fought,

I pierce the psyche: An intrusion;

I am also the preserver & the savior,

I am the ramblings of the righteous,

The manipulator of behavior,

I am the innate fact: riotous;

I control chaos, or birth it,

I am the child of logic,

Once my curiosity awakens, the fire of inquiry is lit,

My very existence is in absolution: Not mythological;

  

I am the gospel, the maxim and the precision,

I am the Truth, the candour and the honesty,

I am perfection: A vision,

I am all that has been, is, & will be:

I am Verity.
