Fires In The Night Sky

Fires in the night sky,
Why thou'st burn so high?

What immortal embers die,
That frame thy fearful poetry?

In these abysmal fires of chaos,
Empires rise and fall to the decay of moss;

The anachronous nature of man,
Shall be the downfall of his clan;

What thou see'st in man,
That thee let him thrive in his clan?

Fires in the night sky,
Why thou'st burn so high?

What immortal embers die,
That frame thy omniscient symmetry?
