The Warmth Of An Emotion
An invulnerable heart is an enclosed space,
A deep dark pit, an automaton,
An emotionless existence, it fulfills with grace,
It's coldness, it tries to ration;
When struck with the heat of emotion, it resists,
It shuns the heat, resolves to remain unchanged,
Yet the emotional onslaught, persists,
And eventually, the cold heart feels deranged;
Once pandemonium subsides, the calm sets in,
The heart begins to thaw, slowly soaking the heat,
The emotion might be any, in the end it will surely win,
The catharsis of the heart, shall gradually retreat;
The permeability of the warmth, depends on the emotion,
Many a heart, has fallen to ice,
Yet coldest of the ice melt, when dipped in a bubbling potion,
Only pure emotion, may break an emotionless vice;
Once the heart has thawed, it begins to warm,
Once again it believes and hopes, it beats,
The pulse quickens as it induces the heat, emotions swarm,
There is a rebirth of its old forgotten hunger, and the heart once again greets....
The power of emotions, which it absorbs and radiates!
